June Spending 2008

6/1/08 – 6/7/08 – No purchases because I was eating leftovers from work

These don’t count because my per diem per day is higher than the amount I spent while traveling on business from 6-8-08 to 6-14-08 but I’m just keeping track ($240 total per diem @ $40/day)
6/8/08 $8.43 a sweet onion chicken terayki sub and soup from Subway
6/9/08 $64.40 a very high class restaurant meal with Jaynie, Andrew, and Karen at Dry Creek Inn
6/11/08 $31.10 Jaynie and I split the bill and got the others at Divine Pizza
6/12/08 $32.04 Jaynie and I split the bill and covered Andrew at TGI Friday’s at the airport
6/13/08 $2.68 snacker and wrap at KFC

I did not put the spending for the cab rides, hotels and plane tickets for my business trips this month because they’re all covered by the company

6/17/08 $2 salad at the employee dinning room of River Rock Casino
6/16/08 $4.58 horchata and super taco at El Sombrero Taqueria
6/16/08 $3.54 Pabst beer, bottled water and lifesavors at Big John’s Market
6/18/08 $76 treated clients and co-workers to lunch at Bear Republic Brewing Co
6/19/08 $2.50 meal at the employee dining room of River Rock Casino
6/19/08 $67 drinks at the bar for Paula and I
6/19/08 $5 toll

End of Business Trip but now I stayed in Cali to chill with family
6/20/08 $11 lunch at a korean restaurant
6/20/08 $4.08 snacks at 99 Ranch Market
6/21/08 $14.75 Thai Basil Cuisine for Patrick and I
6/21/08 $3 bubble tea and parking meter for Patrick and I
6/21/08 $1.58 smoothie from Costco

6/25/08 $74.19 took Becca out to Ponzu Sushi since she helped me with apartment searching & parking
6/27/08 $4.36 vanilla bean frappachino from SBUX but bought a $20 card
6/28/08 $4.36 scotch moving tape for boxes from Ace Hardware
6/29/08 $1 cost to change mailing address on USPS.com
6/30/08 $1.99 medium iced coffee and got a free SW BBQ biscuit

Total: $420.58 (includes $300.27 business expenses)
Real total on discretionary: $120.31
Total minus per diem: -$19.42

Verdict: Epic Win!

In reality I spent less money than I earned because of per diem. However if we factor that out I only spent $120 bucks this month and $74 was on sushi with a friend because she helped drive me to 2 apartments to check’em out. Very good month.
